NEW CASTLE &8212; The sixth annual Pan Mass Challenge Seacoast Kids Ride will be held on Sunday, Sept. 25 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Great Island Commons in New Castle. Children of all ages are invited to pedal their bikes and raise awareness and money for cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund.
DOVER &8212; The Exeter High School volleyball team suffered a 3-0 Division I loss to Dover on Friday. Game scores were 25-20, 25-16 and 25-16.

DURHAH &8212; Senior forward Hayley Rausch scored her second of two goals just two minutes into overtime, leading the 12th-ranked University of New Hampshire field hockey team to a 2-1 victory over Rutgers on Saturday afternoon at Memorial Field.

The PMC Seacoast Kids Ride features three different cycling routes for toddlers through teens to give kids of all ages a way to participate. Tykes on trikes is a special, safe obstacle course for toddlers. Older children will ride a continuous quarter-mile closed and closely monitored loop around the commons, lapping up the miles. A teen ride, monitored by veteran adult riders, will set off down the coast for a 16-mile loop.
Jacque Tworkowski had four saves for Marshwood, which is at South Portland on Monday.
Teams are encouraged to participate to ride for a particular school, group or individual. There will be a variety of mily activities, including a bike safety check, ce painting, arts and crafts, a colossal bake sale and fun entertainment for all. All riders and volunteers can register online at
